    Monolith deserve kudos for this move. It was WB as publisher that forced this loot box bullshit. Monolith finally get to deliver the game as intended.
    I don't see how it can be too late. Either you're interested or you're not. Grabbed this for 66% off on the last Steam Sale with all the DLC. More than happy to jump in now for the "true" experience. I loved Shadow of Mordor and am digging this based on the few hours I've played.

    Didn't feel the need to go back and play it after i had done the main story line. The store? meh never went in there.

    Unless you're a hardcore fan I wouldn't bother, very much the same experience it has always been.

    Biggest diff is being able to to upgrade items' level to your own w/ miriam, not any core changes to gameplay/storyline etc.

    Biggest difference for me was money. It actually has a purpose now.
