They're still very playable, don't really need a remaster (although you can play Fallout 1 in the Fallout 2 engine which helps).

I know I could just google this, but with the goal of getting a comprehensive answer: is there anything like EasyTuTu for fallout 1 & 2? Secondly, are there any essential mods (other than that, if it exists) that one should look into before playing the games. Have never played the originals outside of the demos as far as I remember

I think I've still got the original jewel case for Fallout 1 But I can't get it to work right on Windoes 10.

Weird, can't find it now, was 99% sure it existed but now I'm not so sure.

The Fallout 2 restoration mod - http://www.nma-fallout.com/resources...-installer.10/ is essential for fallout 2 (fixes lots of bugs, high res patch and restores content that was cut when the game was released early), fallout fixt is probably the equivalent for fallout 1 http://www.nma-fallout.com/resources...es-and-mods.8/

It does look and feel like a full, proper Bethesda Fallout Action/RPG. It's possible they've tweaked the genre or put a twist on it somehow, but I just don't see Todd Howard moving away from single player games.

The trailer reminded of the stop motion animated movie The Fantastic Mr Fox.

Yep, could go either way imo. Judging by song it's Virginia.

Sandbox multiplayer survival game done by a studio that has some semblance of ability sounds pretty good to me.
