    PC games from your childhood

Although I don't game much anymore my childhood was filled with early PC gaming.

I fully miss the days of spending countless hours playing the following games

    Golden axe
    Captain cosmic
    Prince of Persia
    Micro machines
    Commander keen
    Wolfenstein 3d
    Keeping up with the jones
    Jungle jane
    Civilization
    California games

I'm tempted to run a early windows just to give them a go but I'm afraid the s****y graphics will disappoint the memory's.

Old VGA and floppy discs have come along way since back then.

    Cool thread.

My old gaming days consisted of Duke 3d, Doom, Descent, Heretic etc and all the sequels.

I have fond memories lanning with my older brother 1 on 1 on seperate computers.

Other games were Jazz Jackrabbit, Quest for glory, point and click adventures like Sam and Max, DOTT.

Also before all of this I had megadrive with my bro. Him and I used to jam sonic, ecco, mortal kombat, mickey mouse and the castle of illusion.

    I could go on

Edit: I chose Micro Machines for your poll as that was loads of fun back in the day!

Typing threads on my iPad and iPhone causes me grief.

There's some goodies being posted alley cats, I remember that game haha. Outlaws and dangerous Dave ring a loud bell too.

Second half of primary school would have been lode runner (the newer version) along with jazz jack rabbit.

Everyone used to queue at the school computer for lode runner, two player was sick!

    Google confirms you are correct.

To be honest I always thought it was cosmic, possibly the background of the game gave me dem feels.

we didn't have a PC so I would go to my friend's house to play this.

Another friend had a similar game with mazes and you could construct your own with traps/rewards and let your friends play it - cryo might be able to help me?

first game I got was this but didn't play it much - someone correct me if it was another TMNT game on PC

then our first PC had this
