You don't have to try and justify your car purchasing decision to anyone, people are free to make up their own mind on what they want to buy. It's purely a case of the other 2 are going to hold their value better as they are far easier to get reliable power out of, and especially in the Evo's case, a car that has a motorsport pedigree to it.

That's certainly a viable idea. Might look into that. Any suggestions as to year, etc?

Not necessarily, i'd consider a wagon, purely because it would be nice to have the extra room.

Love silver cars, so crisp! Saw a Supra at the Tokyo Car Show a number of years ago that had been rubbed down to bare metal and then just lacquered. Looks amazing.

That BMW looks great, but dat price!

Have people suggested a 4th gen 3.0R yet? 10k should get you a nice 6 speed manual wagon (BPE). Then just buy the STI exhaust or similar for noises. They are pretty fast.

And bloody rare too. Try importing one for less than the asking price, i doubt it can be done.

Saw that E31 at meet along time ago, looks like its only done ~10,000 km since then

V12 manuals are something very special

Piece of piss. One for sale in the UK at the moment for about 80k NZ. Higher KS but you'd have it on the road for 95k.

I dont see any RHD ones available?

Doesnt matter anyway, apparently the NZ car is under offer already, so cant be that stupidly priced.

Shame that its likely to be leaving NZ.

Only 160 RHD models world-wide makes it pretty exclusive.

Did you look for the lamest car you could find?

That's not a true 1 owned car. Re-registered plates, imported, no picture of owner with car

  22. Post
Its a fresh import, doesnt mean it wasnt one owner since new, just that that owner wasnt in NZ.

No way those are the original wheels
